Maple Pecan Chocolate Pinwheels

I follow DrizzleMeSkinny on Instagram (if you don't, you should!), and she recently posted a picture of these delectable maple pecan chocolate pinwheels that I HAD to make. The best part is, they are Weight Watchers friendly!

Ingredients:
Can of reduced-fat crescent rolls
1/4 cup lite maple syrup
1/4 cup chopped pecans
2 Tbsp mini chocolate chips

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and spray a baking sheet. Unroll the dough into two squares, pinching together the seams in each square. Pour 2 Tbsp of the syrup onto each square, and brush evenly over the entire square. Sprinkle the pecans and chocolate chips evenly onto each square. Roll up each square and pinch the ends shut. Place in the freezer for about 10 minutes to firm up the rolls, making them easier to cut. Cut each roll into 8 pieces and lay flat on the baking sheet. Bake for approximately 12 minutes (check periodically to make sure they don't burn). Serve warm and enjoy!

Each pinwheel is 3sp or 2pp.
