Mummy Dogs!
My sister brought my niece over on Saturday and we made mummy dogs for lunch - they were simple, fun, and tasty! I've seen several variations of these on Pinterest, and liked this version the best. We enjoyed putting them together and then eating them even more!
Ingredients:
8-pack of hot dogs
Can of crescent roll dough
Candy eyeballs (optional - I found these in the baking aisle at the grocery store)
Instructions:
Unroll the dough into two squares and use a pizza cutter to slice it into small, long strips. Cut each hot dog about 1/3 of the way up to create the legs, and then a small cut above that on each side for the arms. Take a strip of the dough and wrap it around the hot dog. Do this for each hot dog, and then bake in the oven using the crescent roll dough's directions. Remove from the oven and let cool a couple of minutes. We attached the candy eyes with mustard. Then enjoy eating these spooky delights!
