Sip This - Homemade Italian Cream Soda Recipe

When I was younger and we lived in North Carolina (in the early '90s), my parents would take us to eat at The Old Spaghetti Factory occasionally and we would always order the Italian cream sodas - what a treat that was! I've always had fond memories of those times and wanted to somewhat re-create the experience for my husband and son!

Last night, I made lasagna, garlic bread, and these yummy Italian cream sodas (recipe inspiration found here).

Italian Cream Soda Recipe (serves 1):
  • 1 cup cold club soda
  • 6 Tbsp Torani syrup (I used a mixture of 4 Tbsp raspberry and 2 Tbsp vanilla)
  • 2 Tbsp half & half
  • Whipped cream (optional)
  • Cherry or raspberry for garnish (optional)
  1. Pour the club soda into the glass (optional to add 2-3 ice cubes to this)
  2. Pour the syrup(s) into the glass.
  3. Add the half & half to the glass.
  4. Top with whipped cream and your garnish.
If you have small glasses, just half everything in the recipe.Stir the mixture a little bit before drinking so all of the flavors blend together.

The ingredients
Pour the club soda into the glasses, then add the syrup(s).
Add the half & half; then top with whipped cream and garnish...
...and voila! You've made your own homemade Italian cream sodas! Enjoy!
Easy and delicious! Enjoy! :)
